Biography
My academic background is as a teacher. Subsequent nonacademic training allowed me to work as a computer technician and engineer in different companies and for most of my life. I am a notable all-round learner, and expert in nothing, more rational than spiritual and more practical than deluded. My hobby, then as now, was photography.
My artistic occupation is short and self-taught, caused by a intentional break in my professional career, and by others less deliberate on a personal level. I have always been a good draughtsman. Since 2020, at the age of 56, I have exhibited my paintings in several countries, in international fairs and galleries, and have won several awards, all without generating any sales.
I am conscious that it is others who decide wether I am artist or not. However I can say that my works are not quiet melodys of an steep time that swims in the astonishment of the comprehensible. They try to be more like a clear story told in a beautiful way. Formally speaking, they are a mindscape of pure joy. Conceptually, they tell an idea and two stories: the visual one and the one that describes the idea. These are both different and related to the main idea. If I ever say otherwise, don't trust me — perhaps I have no more stories to be told.
