Creative process
The creative process is not new or special. In any case, it is not always the same, nor predictable, although in general it continues this steps:
1- I am looking for an evocative or shocking image.
Since it is not easy to find one that has not been used before, I write down the idea as soon as possible so that it is not forgotten. If I discover that someone else has used it before me, I usually delete it instead of modifying it. This process is independent of the mechanics of painting, since, unlike it, it is carried out anytime and anywhere,
2- Then I look for a good story to have that image. Sometimes generating completely original stories; and others based on scientific, literary or other references,
On other occasions I start with the story and look for images that describe it, taking advantage of dream resources, pareidolia, synesthesia ...
3- I make a first composition on the computer to see what elements are missing, taking into account not only my point of view. And by this I do not mean that the work is commercial.
3- I add more images that complete the story or make it surprising, until I am satisfied with the result.
That allows me to take a look at the composition before starting work.
5- I start to paint.
And often, in the process, new ideas occur to me that end up modifying the end result.
